Sucden Beginner's Guide

  • Start Here

By purchasing a Sucden hardware wallet, you are taking a major step toward securing your cryptocurrency with a highly secure air-gapped cold wallet. However, it's essential for users to grasp the basic functionalities of the wallet to maintain optimal crypto security at all times.

  • How Does Sucden Work?

Sucden allows you to securely create your seed phrase account in an offline setting. It generates private keys and wallet addresses. While addresses are shared with the app, the private keys remain securely stored within the Sucden device, keeping them out of reach from hackers. Sucden is also used to safely sign transactions.

  • What Does the Sucden App Do?

The Sucden App is built to pair seamlessly with the Sucden device via QR codes. Once paired, the device provides the app with access to your wallet addresses. The app synchronizes your balances with blockchain data, allowing for custom token addition and transaction initiation. The Sucden device remains fully offline, ensuring that private keys are kept completely safe.

Additionally, the Sucden App allows you to create a hot wallet account for online management, adding convenience for day-to-day transactions.

  • Air-Gapped Security

The Sucden device is engineered without any connectivity options like USB, Bluetooth, or WiFi. This ensures the device remains completely isolated from networks and other devices, providing robust protection against remote attacks that other hardware wallets may be susceptible to. Your private key remains securely offline at all times.

  • Anti-Tampering and Anti-Disassembly

Built with a durable metal frame, the Sucden device is designed to thwart physical attacks. Any attempt to tamper with or disassemble the device results in its self-destruction, ensuring that hackers cannot access your crypto assets without permanently damaging the device.

  • Trustless Transparency

The Sucden device emphasizes transparency. All QR codes generated by the device can be verified with any QR code scanner, allowing users to independently confirm that each code is accurate and contains the intended information. The large screen also enables users to double-check their transactions, ensuring they always send to the correct address.

Additionally, the Sucden device allows users to import their private keys and seed phrases from their trusted sources, so there’s no need to depend solely on Sucden’s software.
